From Sarah in Wisconsin:
Irene, We misplaced our camera, so we’re
hoping we can find it soon because we really want to take some pictures of her! We will definitely send you some pictures
from time to time. She did really good for the trip. Driving time took us almost 4 hours because we were on a detour, but we also stopped
halfway through to get up and stretch a bit. She just sat in the carrier, either napping or looking around at us.When we got home we put her down
and gave her food and water. We were surprised that she went right to eating and drinking. We played a bit with her, then
put her down to get some away time from us to nap and get used to her surroundings. She seems a bit timid yet, but is coming
out to play. She still loves my husband the best I think! She loves to crawl onto his shoulder when he’s sitting down
and snuggle up against his neck. She did cry for a bit last night, and my husband cuddled her a bit. But then she settled down and was
fine. She seems to be eating and drinking fine, and will play with toys if she’s not being too timid at the time. I
think she’ll be more comfortable with us each day and before we know it she will fit in just fine.Thank you very much for all that
you did! This little girl was exactly the kitten we needed! We still haven’t come up with a name though! Each name we
think of one it doesn’t seem to fit her. I’m sure we’ll have a name for her by the end of the week
though.I’ll
send pictures as soon as I get some done! Thanks again!Sarah
The
kitten is doing great! My husband is thinking of naming her Sasha because he thinks it fits her playful personality, but also
sounds a bit royal since she likes to pose like a little queen cat. She’s eating well, seems healthy, and loves to play and cuddle.
She has already fit into our family very well. Here are a few pictures of her from this past week:She loves this toy. Every cat we have known who was given this toy just loves it:We are very happy with her and thank you very much for
all you’ve done!Sarah.

From Jeff in Minnesota:
Hi Irene,
I've meant to get back to you a while ago with an update and picture, but it just hasn't happened.
Here is a picture of Thor from a couple of weeks ago. He's certainly thriving. He's at about 3.5 lbs now, and sure
seems "stretched out" compared with typical kittens - with a long body and tail. :)
Our vet (a good friend of ours) was quite thrilled to meet him.
We've really been enjoying having him - he has lots of energy and curiosity and he just loves interacting.
I'm planning on taking some pictures that give a better indication of his size. Here is a nice picture, but it doesn't really
convey how big he's getting. :)
Jeff.

Hi Irene, Here's a couple of pictures of Thor taken yesterday (02/13/2009). It's four days early but, we'll call
them his 9 month pictures. :-)He's closing in on 11 lbs, and a couple of those might be his tail! Thanks! Jeff.

From Lesia in Kansas :
Good afternoon Irene,
Maxwell is growing like a weed. He is now almost 4 lbs. We are sending you a picture of him. He is such a live
wire. The 2 dogs play with him all the time. I hope everything there is going fine? Maxwell thinks he is a dog.
He even wades in the edge of the pond up to his belly, just so he can stay close to his dog friends. It's a hoot. Talk
with you later, have a great weekend.
Lesia,Maxwell & dog friends.

Hi Irene, Maxwell’s spots are coming in real nice, his chest is pure white with a dark streak down the middle
of his back. Everyone that sees him just loves him. He has a 6.5 ft cat tree which he scales all the time and he just loves
jumping off onto the dogs and us. When I come home from work he likes to sit on my shoulders and watch what I am doing, Pat
says I have a 4 legged parrot. It's very clear he's my baby he is very spoiled just like the dogs. Maxwell has real meat once
a week, it's usually bison or poultry w/broth. He just gobbles it up. Thanks again for Maxwell he is such a joy to have, he's
always doing something to make us laugh and he plays with the dogs just like he's a dog. I’m training Maxwell to swim
with the dogs in the indoor pool we have. The dogs swim every other day, its nice and warm for them.(they love it). Maxwell
will wade in the water as long as the dogs stay away so I hope to have him swimming ( dog padding) soon. He likes catching
mice and bringing them to me. And of course he loves his FOOD.I can't get the bison fixed fast enough for him before he's
on my shoulder or climbing up my legs. He has started this talking noise when he eats too he sounds so funny. He is now 12.5
lbs. Pat & Lesia & the 3 1/2 Amigos.(Bentley,Stormy,Peanut,Maxwell)=Dogs.

Hi Irene and Dan,
How are you ? Things here are good. Purrcy is doing well! He is huge! He is now the largest cat in the house. And
the most playful of any kitten we have ever had! He loves water and will get in the bathtub with you. He helps us brush
our teeth and shave as well. What was once the kitty corner in my bedroom has become Purrcy's half of the room. We got him
a new toy . It is a fishing rod with a mouse at the end of the line. I don't know who enjoys it better, him or me.
Hope all is well,
Ken and Clint.

Thursday, June 25th, 2009.
Hello Irene,
I hope everything is going well for you and your family.
Dexter is doing so well, he's really jumped right in to our family and is such a joy to have around. He's so loyal
to me. When I come home from work he's right there at the door telling me all about his adventures around the house
and I tell him all about my day at work. He's quite vocal. At night, he curls up at my head and purrs and usually
wakes me up in the morning by pawing at my face. It's so sweet! He's got all the great qualities of his
breed. He loves playing with the children and they just adore him. He's growing like a weed too! He's
almost 12 pounds at 7 months, all fur, muscle and tail! I've attatched some updated pictures for you. He
is absolutely handsome.
Thanks again and Take care!
Angela.

Monday, 12th October, 2009.
Hello Irene,
I haven't spoken to you in awhile and I hope you and your family are doing well!? It feels like Christmas already with
this early snowfall! Dexter loves the snow, actually he'll sit in the window most of the day trying to catch it through
the screen. Since he loves the outdoors, I've bought him a leash with a harness and I take him out in the grass just
on the side of my house so he can roll around. He loves the grass and it's a nice break from being indoors all the time. I've
attatched recent pictures. As you can see, he's a little furry human and loves to sleep under the covers.
That's all for now.
Have a great week.
-Angela.
